Distinctions

MGJ was awarded in the "Gepardy Biznesu" competition as its market value in the period of 31st March 2004 - 31st March 2006 grew more than 30%. Economic research named InfoCredit examined 239 small and medium sized companies from wood and paper industry taking into account market value at the end of March 2004, 2005 and 2006 as well as two years growth dynamics of market value. MGJ placed on very good 7 th position and among 318 companies of Pomeranian Voivodship MGJ placed on 12th position.
The aim behind the competition is to select and promote the most dynamically expanding enterprises as well as indicate the opportunities the stock exchange and capital market gives.

The ceremony of awarding will take place in the middle of September under which Marshal of Pomorskie Voivodship - Jan Kozłowski and the President of Gdańsk - Paweł Adamowicz will take the honorable patronage

MGJ has jointed the prestigious group of "Business Gazelles 2006", that is companies characterized by very good business results, dynamic development and reliable performance.
The ranking of the fastest-growing small and medium-sized enterprises included 3404 companies. It was the first ranking which took into consideration the results of a total year in European Union. Distinguished companies quickly and easily adopted to changing conditions, moreover they operate on the market with solidity and reliability.

The great gala of awarding took place on 4th April 2007 in Baltic Opera in Gdańsk.

On 5th December 2005 the 6th edition of the special supplement, 'Business Gazelles 2006', was published. The ranking is created by Puls Biznesu daily and Coface Intercredit Warszawa business information agency based on applications and information that are published in Polish Official Bulletin B. The criteria of selecting the best companies were as follows: establishing the business before 2002 and the continuous operation until today, the minimum sales of PLN 3m in 2002, the increase of sales in 2002-2004, a positive financial result in 2002-2004, publishing financial reports in the Polish Official Bulletin B, submitting reports to the registration files of the company and providing such documents to the editorial office of Puls Biznesu or Coface Intercredit Polska; MGJ has been in the prestigious group of Business Gazelles 2005, which means that we are among the companies that have positive financial results, is developing dynamically and is a reliable business partner. MGJ Sp. z o.o. was 19th in the ranking of Pomorskie Voivodship and 222 nationwide.

On 12th December 2005 in Gdansk the conference was held entitled 'Common Europe - innovation, entrepreneurship, education. Practical aspects of implementing Lisbon Strategy on the local and regional level' organized by the Marshal`s Office. During the conference awards were granted in the competition 'Pomeranian Leader of Innovation' (edition 2005). The aim of the competition was to popularize 'best practice' and promoting regional innovation firms. MGJ took an active part both in the conference and the competition and the distinction was received on behalf of the Board by Vice-President, Grzegorz Wejer.
